The standard performance time for the band is usually is 1hr 50 minutes, split into two 55 minute sets. This is flexible though. If you require the band to play for longer please discuss this at the point of booking.
The band have full public liability insurance to cover their booking arrangements, for both customer and band members. All electrical equipment for the band is covered by PAT certification.
Every booking is managed by the bands accountant, and a performance and booking contract is provided with full terms and conditions given to the customer. We advise all customers to read this carefully when booking.
If, in the very rare instance the band cannot perform on your chosen date, the band will look to provide you with an alternative act. This alternative act would be trusted by Break The Record to provide a similar professional service as themselves, or they will alternatively fully refund the booking cost. Note: The band has never cancelled a contract with any booking previously.
As the band already provides a very full and comprehensive list of songs (which they are very confident in) they do not take requests during the performance. However, the band can take a song request in advance for a specific reason (i.e. first dance song). Please refer to the terms and conditions and discuss this prior to your booking.
The band require a minimum space of 6m x 6m within the performance area. If the planned area is less than 6m x 6m, then this needs to be discussed with the band prior to booking.
Although the booking contract does not formally state that food or drinks need to be provided, depending on the length of time on location the band may require refreshments as part of the booking. Please refer to the booking contract as part of each individual agreement.
Once you are ready to book, confirmation details are sent to you to review and check. Once you are happy a deposit for 15% of the total amount due is payable to confirm your booking. All the details are shown in your booking contract which you will have received.
Basic DJ - A playlist that runs automatically. Full DJ - A member of the band will remain at the desk taking requests and providing a full DJ set.
Acoustic band performance includes, Cajon drum, bass guitar, two acoustic guitars and vocals. Standard full band performance includes, full drum kit, bass guitar, two electric guitars, FX and vocals.
Yes, the band provides a stereo loudspeaker system, and two smaller standing lighting systems.
